Isabella Illustration

It's Raining Isabella

It's raining Isabella
 but I don't give a damn
the wind has taken my umbrella
I've forgotten who I am

It's raining Isabella
skin glistens like a gem
so we do the tarentella
and I don't know who I am, no I don't know who I am

And so we maximize the moment
marooned here in the hall
dissolving slowly in an ocean
while we have the wherewithal

In the deluge I am drowning
but I am not afraid
at the feast that I am founding
the entrees are buffeted

It's raining Isabella
the thunder clouds have formed
 the southwind will propel her

she brings the perfect storm

And so we maximize the moment
marooned here in the hall
dissolving slowly in an ocean
while we have the wherewithal

Isabella brings the torchlight
to mock that song of old
She's standing in the moonlight
and she's broken by the mold
