Hi friends!
You may have noticed that I have not done any liner notes on releases for 2 decades now.
This is because it seems sort of superfluous when I myself am doing literally everything on the albums.
I play the instruments, I write the music, I arrange the music.
I produce and engineer the recordings.
Then I mix, remix, and master the albums.
Anyway, it sounds like some sort of massive ego trip as liner notes so I really don't get into that on the album covers.
I'd much rather the music just speak for itself, and have the album art unobscured with printed words.
The guitars I played on this album were a Fender Custom Shop Telecaster ( A 1959 recreation)
which is the only guitar used on "A Place I Know".
I used a lovely Fernandes Stratocaster on "The Gun Show".
The other tracks feature tones from a G&L Stratocaster, a Vox 55 series, and a Ibanez Artist with a Bigsby Vibrato.
The Acoustic guitars on the album are a Paul Reed Smith and a Yamaha.
